Roseann Nuckles-Coots Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roseann Nuckles-Coots of Belvidere, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Henry and Rose A. Boyer (Peterson); her son Mark R. Coots; her former husband Melvin W. "Sonny" Coots Jr.; her husband Dennis R. "Denny" Nuckles; her granddaughter Rachel A. Loos; and her siblings, Ruby Reed, Dorothy Evans, Robert Boyer, Mary Mackaben and Verda Mae "Mitti" Ross.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Coots, Peggy Malone (Tim) and Pam Stackhouse (Walt); her grandchildren, Rhiannon Goudreau (Philip), Brian O'Malley, Colin O'Malley (Haleigh), Casey Serrin (Lindell), Benjamin Zirkle (Briel) and Joseph Zirkle (Kimberly); her great grandchildren, Ari, Lux, Miles, Annalise, Kurtis, Cyrus, Sawyer, Lola, Lyra, Brody and Ora Henry; her sister Margaret Lee (Nuckles); and her pets, Russian Blue, Luna Pearl and Milo Melvin.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Boone County Museum of History in Belvidere, IL. (314 S State St, Belvidere, IL 61008).
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in the family's name.
