He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Laws and Irma Grace Laws (Petticrew); his sister Faye E. Leffelman (Chesley); his brothers-in-law, Ronald G. Chelsey, Eugene A. "Gene" Leffelman and John Stiles; and his pets, Laddy, Lobo, Sandy and Maxine.
He is survived by: his wife Sharonne; his sons, Phillip Laws (Candy) of Belvidere and Brian Laws (Suzan) of South Beloit, IL; his sister Lanieta Stiles (Laws) of Dixon, IL; his grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Alexander (Hannah), Katelyn, Abigail and Sarah Laws; his stepgrandchildren, James and Samantha Thibodeault; his great grandchildren, Violet and Rose Laws; and his stepgreat-grandson Cole Thibodeault.
