He was predeceased by: his wife Jody Wait; his brother Richard; and his parents, Grace Wait (Smith) and Cecil Wait. He is survived by: his brothers, Roger Wait (Nancy) and Dean Wait (Karen); and his nieces and nephews, Mickey Klink, Chris Banks (John), Scott Wait (Sarah Herlihy), Adam Wait (Stephanie Oliveieri), Ashley Wait-Woodcock (Greg) and Tara Albores (Rick). He is also survived by twelve great-nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members, dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Building Complex of Boone County (111 W 1st St, Belvidere, IL 61008). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
