He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Schendel and Beatrice Schendel (Trafton); his wife Irene Bridgeman-Schendel (Jackson); his brother Gayland Schendel; and his grandson Paul Schendel.

He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Kathryn Jonas, Florence Decker (Michael), Diana Pulcini (Thomas) and Kimberly Rabe (Paul); his sister-in-law Mary Adair (Jackson); and his sister Adel Hunt (Neil). He is also survived by his children; four step-daughters; his full and step grandchildren; great -grandchildren; great -great grandchildren.

Social distancing and masks will be required.
