It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger E. Ainsworth of Belvidere, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ainsworth and Leah Ainsworth (Blodgett); his wife Carmen Ainsworth; his son Shannon Ainsworth; and his sister Patricia Ainsworth.

He is survived by: his son Shawn Ainsworth (Trudi); his granddaughters, Alexandra Beranek (Adam), Jenna Preston (Tyler) and Kendyl Ainsworth; and his siblings-in-law, Nitelle Lading (Dennis) and Jerry Lugar.

A memorial fund will be established in Roger's name.
