He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. and Leona Stierman (Roth); his former wife Elaine Stierman; his daughter Cynthia Stierman; his granddaughter Michelle Walt; and his sister Pat Kardell.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stierman; his children, Charles Stierman (Lynn), Gail Daer, Gary Walt, Gregg Walt (Keli) and Barbara Schmidt (Rudy); and his grandchildren, Dan Stierman (Sheila), Leslie Pearlson (Matthew), Aaron Thor (Erin), Robert Thor (Carol), Cassandra Daer, Stephanie Lawson (Kevin), Ryan Walt (Tabitha), Tiffany Woulfe (Michael), Troy Schmidt, Nathan Walt and Trevor Walt. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
