With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Anthony Erickson of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2024 at the age of 79. He is survived by: his wife Terri (Nelson); his children, Gina Carlton (Curt), Brian Key (Lisa), Rachel Key (Jason), Marc Canzoneri (Dawn) and Mellissa Grimm; his sister Fran Richter; his grandchildren, Bailey, Mya, Allyssa, Austin, Mackenzie, Lauren, Kaylee, Keyara, Mallory, Hannah and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Sophia and Elijah. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rita's Catholic Church (6254 Valley Knoll Dr, Rockford, IL 61109). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Bob can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
