It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Winkelman of Belvidere, Illinois, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Winkelman and Emma Winkelman (Wendt). He is survived by: his significant other Elaine Vandercoy; his children, Dr. Daniel Winkelman (Monica) and Susan Woods (Steven); his grandchildren, Emily, Anna, Andrew, Brendan and Kathryn; and his cousin Sally Pulford.
