He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jekosz and Wladyslawa Jekosz (Strojna); his son Matthew Jekosz; and his mother-in-law Patricia Mingotti. He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Mingotti; his siblings, Karl Jekosz and Martha Mika (Joe); his father-in-law Bill Mingotti; and his sisters-in-law, Tracy Gentges (Jeff) and Sandy Teuber (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
