He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Balentyne and Lydia Balentyne (Dralle); his son Rich Balentyne; and his siblings, Harry I. Balentyne, Gerald Balentyne, Emmett J. Balentyne and Phyllis Blake.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Dolphin; his daughter Anne Wise (Thomas); his grandchildren, Amanda Wise and Jonathan Wise; his brother Kenneth Balentyne (Patricia); and his sisters-in-law, Juanita Balentyne and Sonja Balentyne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
