It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Promise Slater of Belvidere, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her mother Mandy Slater; her brothers, Lil Man (Jason Jr.) and Chance Asbury; her father Jason Asbury (Stephanie); her uncle Brandon Riley (Jennifer); her great-grandparents, Ron and Connie Bone; her great-great-grandparent Cummings; her great-grandparent Betty Riley; her grandmothers, Terry Riley and Evelyn Asbury (Cookie); and also, Lewis (Big Kid), Daisy and Pee Wee. She is also survived by four grandfathers and three grandmothers; six uncles; six aunts; many cousins and great cousins.
