“I was surprised and saddened to hear of Phil's passing. I grew up with Phil in Capron and spent many hours with him. We went to school together from 1st grade to 12th at North Boone. I was away in Washington State for many years and my big regret is when I came back to Illinois I failed to look Phil up. Thinking incorrectly that there is always time. Time is one thing today that those of us Phil's age do not have in abundance. I never met his family, but I wish you all the best. Harold Cox”
