It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny Ann Gottinger (Belvidere, Illinois), who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gierke and Alta Gierke (Wittig); her parents-in-law, Dorothy and Aloys Gottinger; and her nephews, Dennis and Jason Gerstung.
She is survived by: her husband Allan Gottinger; her daughters, Kari Gottinger and Jennifer Dettman (Paul); her granddaughters, Kaitlin Box (Cole) and Madalyn Drays (Derek); her great grandchild Jaxon; her grandchildren, Kayla, David, Nicole and Bradly Dettman; her sister Linda Gerstung (Dennis); her nephew Cory Gerstung (Katie); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Devin, Adriana, Kenadee and Jameson.
