It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Kirane of Belvidere, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kirane and Mary Kirane (King); and his siblings, Jim Kirane, Margaret Baldon, Jo Miles and Rita Francis Key.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wendricks; his children, Patrick Kirane (Lisa), Rebecca Zurfluh, Debbie Anderson (Greg) and Karen Smiley (Scott); and his grandchildren, Mitch Anderson (Trina), Curt Anderson, Jessica Anderson (Carlos Popa), Elaine Moye (Josh), Jacob Smiley (Kalina Gordley), Rachel Cisco (Josh) and Julia Zurfluh (Mike Potthast). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to OSF Hospice.
