Miguel Angel Rodriguez, Sr, 68, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 30, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Miguel was born September 5, 1948 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, the son of Jose and Maria Rodriguez from Ponce, Puerto Rico. He married Lucia on February 9, 1975 in Chicago and to this union 5 children were born.
He enjoyed soccer and spending time with his grandchildren.
Miguel is loved and will be missed by his wife, Lucia; children, Roberto (Diana), Rose (Alejandro), Joel, Alejandro (Liliana) and Juan Pablo (Courtney); grandchildren, Linda, Anabelle, Andrew, Cynthia, Alejandro Jr, Isabella, Mia, Julian, Valerie, and Roberto Jr. Miguel is preceded in death by his sisters, Silvia and Sara; brothers, Raul and Rolando.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church 425 Riverside Rd, Belvidere, IL 61008. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Neal Cannon, Associated Pastor officiating, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials can be given in care of Miguel's family.
