She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Rodgers and Opal Rodgers (Disbennet); and her spouse Thomas Parkman. She is survived by: her children, Ruthie Lee Pratt and Jeffrey Parkman (Gwen); her sisters, Bonnie Miller and Margaret Melton; and her close friends, Hugh Wise and Julette Wade. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
