It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Silvius of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Goomas and Tassia Goomas (Dragas); her husband John J. Silvius; and her siblings, Jim Goomas, George Goomas, Nick Goomas, Dorothy Quante, Irene Hunt, Christine Pippel and Connie Slavik. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
