He was predeceased by: his parents, Conley and Evelyn; and his siblings, Douglas, Marvin, Everett and Alma.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ruth Franke Kesterson; his children, Phyllis (Ron Brown), Daralee (Jeff Bollock) and Mike (Kim Janeway); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Emily, Matt Brown, Sara, McKenzie, Blake Bollock, Katarina and Makayla Janeway; his great grandchildren, Izaiah, Jayden, Noah, Zoey, Aubree, Jillian, Lily and Paisley; his brother Lawrence (Lisa); his sister-in-law Lois; and his caregivers, Valerie and Danielle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
