Leonard E. Harris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard E. Harris (Belvidere, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard R. Harris and Elizabeth Annabelle Harris (Streit); his brother Joseph Harris; and his great grandchild Tucker. He is survived by: his children, Dann Harris (Dianna) and Richard Harris (Annette); the mother of his children Joy Elaine Harris Roeger; his grandchildren, DJ Harris (Sarah), Amanda Schwab (Matt) and Skylar Harris (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Lilly, Mackenzie, Autumn, Savanna and Cooper; and his siblings, Betty Borgo (Glenn) and Steve Harris (Luann).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1045 Belvidere Rd, Belvidere, IL 61008). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Leonard can be made to the Shriners hospitals for children.
