We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2021, at the age of 101, Karin S. Hallen (Belvidere, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albin Persson and Gerda Persson (Karlberg); and her husband Walter Hallen. She is survived by: her daughter Janet Truitt (Michael); her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Zalapi (Vince) and Daniel Truitt (Lydia); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Braden, Blake, Ben Zalapi, Nora and Ella Truitt; her brother-in-law Don Hallen (Sue); and her goddaughter Margaret.
