With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Moriarty of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on November 17, 2020 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of June Moriarty to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Sanders and Genevieve Sanders (Goral); her husband Joseph Moriarty of Boston; and her sisters, Annabelle Morrison and Lois Sanders.
She is survived by: her sister Joy Kretsinger; and her children, Steven Moriarty (Patricia), Mary Ellen Stapleford (William), Paul Moriarty, Mark Moriarty and Thomas Moriarty (Ka-Yi). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St James Catholic Church in Belvidere or the Boone County Council on Aging/Keenage Center in Belvidere would be appreciated.
