With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith A. Dawson of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Edward Wight and Minnie Wight; her children, Larry Dawson (Sarah), James Dawson (Kerry) and Jenny Diehl (Tom); her grandchildren, Caitlin Lovelady (Shawn), Ashley Lee (Rob), Caleb Dawson (Katrina), Taner Dawson (Danielle), Abbie, Carly Diehl (Jacob Koziol) and Caden Diehl; her siblings, Betty Bloom and Ronald Wight, Sr.; her husband Larry Dawson, Sr.; her grandson Christopher Dawson; and her brothers, Edward Wight, Robert Wight and Daniel Wight. She is also survived by 7 great-grandsons, 1 great-granddaughter.
Judie spent a lot of years volunteering at Ken-Rock Community Center, camping at Blackhawk Campgrounds and making chemo head wraps to donate to the cancer treatment center.
