He is survived by: his wife Donna K. Stevens; his children, Amy Mitchell (Whit) of Broadhead, WI, Cory Lind (Carin Hunt) of Belvidere, Laura Lind (Mike Hoffeditz) of Roscoe, IL, Johnny Bates of Hanover, WI and Sandra Rogers of Marengo, IL; his siblings, Nancy Kosar of Belvidere, Bob Bates (Doris), Bill Bates of Dayton, OH, Mary Turner (Lee) of Belvidere, Sue Haile (Roger) of Belvidere and Cindy Foster (Charlie) of Belvidere; his grandchildren, Devon Rogers, Kaydence Noble, Julia Noble, Kameron Atkinson and Avery Lind; and his pets, KiKi and Miester. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
