He is survived by: his wife Kristine; his daughters, Cathy Martin (Scott) and Karin Herrmann (Glenn); his grandchildren, Nathan Ball, Matthew Herrmann and Joshua Herrmann; his great grandchild Greyson Ball; and his brother Richard Spate (Evelyn).
