With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Elizabeth Benedict Christopherson (Belvidere, Illinois), born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 12, 2018 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Christopherson; her parents, Nathan Benedict and Lucile Benedict; and also Gretchen. She is survived by: her children, David Christopherson (Hilli) and Susan Johnson (Mark); her grandchildren, Heather Rodriguez (Christopherson), Alek, Quinn (Amanda) and Abbey Johnson; her great grandchildren, Joey Rodriguez, Cole Rodriguez and Masen Rodriguez; and her sisters, Isabel Larson (Russ), Janet Fritz and Doris Hicks.
