With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Fast of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2021 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Fast to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fast and Evangeline Fast (Johnson); and his wife Joyce Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Janelle Beilke (Paul), Jon Fast (Renee) and Juliana Hatfield (James); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Michael and Ben. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; as well as countless nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there will not be a luncheon served.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jerry's honor may be made to the Rockford Rescue Mission or Gideons International.
