He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Simerly and Laura Simerly (Brady); his son Curtis Simerly; and his siblings, AC Simerly, Holbert Simerly and Lizzie Belle Horne.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Chamberlain; his children, Elena Reynard (Brian), Adam Simerly (Juli), Troy Buchanan (Lilia) and Tony Buchanan (Mary Jane); and his grandchildren, Elissa, Dustin, Kyle, Nathan, Cody, Mikayla and Joshua. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
