It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Francis West of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Verona, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Otto and Vera West (Bedeker); his former wives, Shirley West (Fry) and Lila West (Roe); his son Jeffery West; his siblings, Jerry West, Ronald West, Beverly Koppen, Elsie McGrady and Ellen Seelhoff; his grandchildren, Kevin Bender, Julie and Jill Bender; his great grandchild Amelia Brickson; his stepsons, Terry Pinkston, Jim Pinkston and Rick West; and his brothers-in-law, David Fidder and Jim Gough.
He is survived by: his wife Donna West; his children, Pam Hyser (Gary), James West (Ruby), Jack West (Lori), Jolene Loos (Eddie) and Jay West; his stepchildren, Randy Nemec (Doreen), Cindy Molosz (Jeff) and Sherry Rhodes (Tom); his siblings, Bill West (Sally), Sandy Fidder, Diane Wachlin, Judy Gough and Candy Rogers; and his brother-in-law Ron Seelhoff. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to VETS ROLL, Northern Illinois Hospice, or the Belvidere Keen Age Center.
