It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Jacobson of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Jacobson and Myrtle Jacobson (Sorenson); his wife Wanda Lou Erickson; his stepfather Tom Philips; and his siblings-in-law, David Larson and Mary Jacobson.
He is survived by: his children, Wes Jacobson (Lori) of Dunlap, IL, Darla Jacobson of Rockford, IL and Eric Jacobson (Cathy) of Brookfield, WI; his grandchildren, Laura Thurlby (Matt), Ashley Montoya (John), Claire Jacobson, Emily Jacobson and Kevin Jacobson; his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Gabriel, Alexander and Hailey; and his siblings, Lyle (Babe) of Baldwin, WI, Rodney of Toddville, IA, Lemoyne (Elaine) of El Cajon, CA and Marlys Larson of Marion, IA..
