Cornelius of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Surrency, Georgia, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, F. Marion Martin and Lillian Martin (Green); her husband Joseph James Cornelius; and her granddaughter Ashley Niesen. She is survived by : her sons, Steven Cornelius (Cathy) and Ed Cornelius (Angie); and her grandsons, Calvin Cornelius and Jeremy Bellucci.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Belvidere Keen Age Center.
