With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis P. Wilkins (Belvidere, Illinois), born in Rapid City, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilkins and Margaret Wilkins (Bloom); his son Bryon; and his brothers, Herman and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Nordman; his children, Troy, Tracy, Lincoln, Dee Jay, Dale, Paula and Mitchell; his siblings, Richard, Margaret, Norma and Cindy; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Garcia (Roman), Dan Flynn, Cheryl Wennmacher (Tom), Cindy Wilcox (Craig), David Nordman (Sue) and Connie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service (203 Logan Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sanctuary Hospice.
