He was predeceased by: his father Otto Norem. He is survived by: his mother Carol Norem (Lenox); his friends, Dr. Philip, Mary Seeber, Dr. Jon Monkemeyer, Dr. John Dorsey, Dr. Tom Dahlberg, Dr. Ken Korchek, Jeff Carlisle, Eileen Holtan and Barbara D'Souza; his siblings-in-law, David Burwell and Mary Burwell; his wife Julia Norem (Burwell); his children, Chris Norem (Nancy), Sarah Chomiak (Michael), Natalie Norem, Dr. Nathan Norem (Margaux) and Naomi Norem (Henry Cook); his grandchildren, Megan Norem, Kaitlyn Norem, Colin Norem, Elizabeth Chomiak, Amelia Chomiak, Otto Olendorf and Colette Olendorf; his siblings, Gary Norem (Joan) and Julie Hawley (Rob); his parents-in-law, Gordon and Dorothy Burwell; and also, Dennis and Diane Roop. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
