She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hansen and Gladys Hansen (Ruch); and her sisters, Dorothy and Charlene. She is survived by: her son Thomas Sparks (Karen); and her brother Al Hansen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First Presbyterian Church in Belvidere, IL.
