In loving memory of Charlene Susan Cross of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Itasca, Illinois, who departed this world on June 6, 2024 at the age of 60. She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Kries and Barbara Kries (Conlin); her husband James Cross; her brother Stephen "Stosh" Kries; and her mother-in-law Betty Jo Cross.

She is survived by : her daughters, Jessica Lauersdorf (Mateo) and Sara Cross (Jacob); her siblings, Jackie Triska (Mike), Corinne Dillon (Ken), Cathy Wind (Andy), Patti Kries and Andy Kries (Tracy); her sister-in-law Jane Hunn (Jeff); and her pets, Wrigley and Eevee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services (218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Belvidere Cemetery (1121 N Main St, Belvidere, IL 61008).
