He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernt O. Jacobsen and Severine Jacobsen (Johannssen); his wife Mary Rita Ryan; and his siblings, Gudrun, Olaf, John and Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Daugherty, Teresa Jacobsen, Bruce Jacobsen (LeeAnn), Steven Jacobsen (Susan), Neal Jacobsen (Jennifer) and Brent Jacobsen; his grandchildren, Steven, Gina (Tom), Jennie, Josie (Ryan), Lara and Cate; and his great grandchildren, Caitlin, Austin, Kiely, Tommy and Casey. He is also survived by 6 children.
