He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tomasa Zurita and Andres; his daughters, Erica Rossmiller (Jeb) and Nicole Zurita; his siblings, Rudy Zurita (Tina), Andy Zurita, Esther Zurita, Martha Zurita, Estela VanderKuyl (Chris), Micae Anderson (Mike), Jose Ramirez (Araceli) and Maria Zurita; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Welch.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Elms Funeral Home (7600 W Grand Ave, Elmwood Park, IL 60707).
