He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bertha Vega; his son Delfin Vega; his stepchildren, Lourdes Rodriguez (Jose), Renato Soto (Verna) and Raul Soto; his grandsons, Julien Soto and Jacob Mendez; and his parents, Agustin Vega and Isabel Valdez.
