He was predeceased by: his wife Petra; his parents, Pablo and Crescencia; his siblings, Pedro Alcozer (late Maria), Guadalupe Alcozer and Jose Alcozer (late Alicia); and his sister-in-law Maria Coronado (Raul).

He is survived by: his children, Juan Antonio Alcozer (Donna), Maria Elida Salinas (Noe), Sanjuana Paniagua (Victor), Elsa Akana (Mark) and Pablo Alcozer (Jolanta); and his siblings-in-law, Lupe Martinez (Mary Lou) and Pablo Martinez (Pauline). He is also survived by 41 grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
