He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Collar and Nellie Collar (South); his son Clifford Clayton Collar; his siblings, Virgil Collar of Keith Collar and Faye Walls of Bonnie Tiezen; and his nephews, Ronald Bice and Thomas Bice.
He is survived by: his spouses, Dorothy "Dottie" Berry and Dottie Collar of Bellmont; his daughters, Dana Hornback (Eugene) of Bellmont and Daneen Collar of Mount Carmel; his niece Clayton; his daughter Janel Wherry (David) of Vermillion; and also Dottie.
