It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Alene Basse of Belleville, Illinois, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse O. Gosha and Irene Gosha; her siblings, Jessie E. Gosha, Jerry Gosha, Larry Gosha, Melba Ganus and Jean Stewart; and her granddaughter Lydia Simburger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Simburger (Leo) of Smithton, IL, Regina Emery of Phoenix, AZ, Teri Jones (Lee) of Las Vegas, NV and Angie Emring (Mark) of Millstadt, IL; her grandchildren, Daniel Moll (Shelby), Andrew Simburger (Alea) of Slippery Rock, PA, Laney Jones of Las Vegas, NV and Evan Emring of Millstadt, IL; her great grandchildren, Carson Moll and Mallory Moll of Freeburg, IL; and her siblings, Joe Gosha (Debbie) of O'Fallon, IL, June Taylor of Belleville, IL and Kay Munoz of Mascoutah, IL.. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
