With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia L. Egnatz (Belleville, Illinois), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry R. Egnatz; her parents, John and Stella; and her nephew Joe Dallas. She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Roth (Patrick); her grandchildren, Trish Bell (Brad) of Swansea, IL, Michelle Marty (Vincent) of Highland, IL and Joshua Roth (Brandi) of Belleville, IL; her great grandchildren, Ruby, Chaz, Thomas, Jett and Clark; and her nieces and nephews, Patti Mikulcza, JoAnn Mikulcza, Mary Kay Talley (Bill), William Dallas and Tom Dallas (Jessica).

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church (1910 W Belle St, Belleville, IL 62226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials are preferred to St. Augustine of Canterbury Church or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
