He was predeceased by: his wife Celeste Schwaegel; his parents, Walter and Wilhelmina; and his siblings, Irvin Agne (Ruth), Alvin Agne (Lil), Arnold Agne (Helen), Walter Jr. Agne (Aurelia), Verlan Agne (Janet) and Ethel Matychowiak (Leonard).
He is survived by: his brother Al's; his great grandchild Austen Stanley Edwards; his sons, Stanley Keith Agne (Linda), Craig L. Agne (Christy), Kent D. Agne (Mary) and Wayne M. Agne (Betty Greer); his grandchildren, Tim Agne, Mark Agne, Elise Agne, Bethany Edwards (Andrew), Mike Agne, Travis Agne, Jason Agne (Leah), Grace Lichvar (Ethan), Brandy Parmeley (Jeff), Rachel Holloway, Casey Agne, Joshua Agne (Katie) and David Carson (Angie); his great grandchildren, Jared, Neil, Thora, Kitt, Logan, Bryce, Hudson, Thatcher, Everly, Easton, Addison, Simon, Damien, Landon and Isabelle; his sister Delores Holdener (Edward); and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Schwaegel and Helen Tonnies.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220).
