She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert J. and Carnation E.; her brother-in-law Gary K. Buettner; her nephew Scott R. Buettner; her mother-in-law Luella Buettner; and her former husband Donald Schaeffer.
She is survived by: her husband Steven P. Buettner; her son Steven P. Buettner II (Kaitlynn); and her grandsons, Steven P. Buettner III and Scott J. Buettner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church (200 W Harrison St, Belleville, IL 62220).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Hill, Waterloo, IL.
