We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2024, at the age of 82, Richard Wesley Taylor of Belleville, Illinois, born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Richard Wesley had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Richard Wesley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holton Funeral Home (3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
