It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Booker of Belleville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Walter Booker; and her parents, John (Florence) and Mense. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Marxer (Susan) and Leslie Zotz; her stepdaughters, Charlotte Booker (Mark Nutter) and Cassandra E. Johnson (Michael); her grandson Gregory Marxer (Hannah); her stepgrandson Noah Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Haylie, Sophie and Tiberius.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church (200 W Harrison St, Belleville, IL 62220). A Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Gateway Pet Guardians or Rebuilding Together – St. Louis.
