He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret M.; his son John Anthony Kerkemeyer; his father Anton (Mary); and his brother Anthony Kerkemeyer (Wilma). He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Meehan (David) of Waterloo, IL, Debbie Monks (Chris) of Chesterfield, MO and Lynn Wilkes (Tom) of Ballwin, MO; his grandchildren, Chloe (Trev Riekenberg), Connor Meehan, Carter, Ethan Monks, Cameron (Abigail), Ryan Wilkes, Jakob and Kayleigh Kerkemeyer; and his sister-in-law Ruth Blumenstein. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Renner Funeral Home - Belleville (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
