She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Anthony and Earl Brown; and her sister Thomastine Anthony-Luckett. She is survived by: her children, Karen Ward of Belleville, Illinois, Devoris Ward of Belleville, Norvell Ward Jr. of Chicago, Grafton Ward of Belleville and Orlando Ward (Demetris) of Belleville, Illinois; her niece Dana Chavis of Belleville; and her nephews, Dwaun Brown (Lisa) of Belleville and Keith Brown (Donna) of St. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the New Life Community Church (1919 State St, East St Louis, IL 62205). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memory Cemetery (3230 Cemetery Rd, Millstadt, IL 62260).
