She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. Eckert; and her parents, Harold Joseph (Ada Ann) and McKane. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Linda Bass (George) and Laura Ann Bauer (Patrick); her grandchildren, David Bass (Jamie), Andrew Bass (Sara Thies), Katelyn Fitzler (Ryan), Claire McCarter (Zach), Christopher Bauer and Alaina Bauer; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Kellen, Camden, Annette, Kai, Emmett, Henrietta, Amelia and Nellie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church (1910 W Belle St, Belleville, IL 62226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Grade School to provide books for the school library.
