With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Philipp of Belleville, Illinois, born in Blue Island, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Eva Y.; his parents, William Sr. (Amanda) and Philipp; his niece Carolyn Hardgrave Lederer; and his nephew Thomas Riley Hardgrave.
He is survived by: his niece Charlotte Hardgrave; and his friends, Lore, Steve, Johnnie and Jeff.
A prayer was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 7:30 AM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church.
