He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence (Martha); his siblings, Rita Oates (Colonel Pat) and Marc C. Schniers; and his grandparents, Martin, Millie, Scher, Frank, Phillipina and Linda Bauer (Brad Bauer).
He is survived by: his sisters, Ann L. Bauer of Belleville, IL and Cecelia Schniers of Belleville, IL; his nephew Brad Bauer; his nieces, Tiffany Astle (Bill), Regina L. Teal, Elizabeth Nardi (Frank), Stephanie Smith (Reese) and Margaret Foltz (Chad); and his caregivers, Regina L. Teal, Shaun C. Thomas and Cecelia R. Schniers. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church or BJC Hospice.
